This lot is a plastic BREAD TOKEN for the HUTT VALLEY for a Half Loaf.(22mm) From what I can understand these were issued during the late 1940's, till the late 1950's. I purchased this example in the 1980's from Fox Collectables, of Petone. I have only seen three examples over a thirty year period and one was different (One Loaf). Not recorded in Grant.
