Description
This is a really beautiful large bowl from Malawi, brought back by missionaries in the 1970s. It looks to have never been used.
It has a deeply carved frieze of a parade of elephants, rhinos, giraffes etc. around the outside and is made of a very hard wood, like African Rosewood or something similar.
It measures 332 mm in diameter by 95 mm in height.
