1871 LAND GRANT TO THE TOWN OF LAWRENCE AND ITS INHABITANTS AS A RESERVE FOR THE PURPOSE OF A MUNICIPAL ESTATE.
Signed by Governor Sir George Ferguson Bowen.
Grant No 11714 under the Public Reserves Act of 1854 and 1862.
There is a hand drawn map of the land itself as surveyed by R. Gregor and shows the one Rood section situated at 12 Oban St.
The Grant is on parchment and has the Official Seal of the Colony of New Zealand affixed. The Deed measures 480mm x 320mm.
