East Indian Archipelago.

Today comprises mainly of Indonesia, the Philippines and parts of Malaysia.

This is an original engraved and colour lithographic map of the East Indian Archipelago, dated 1898. It shows the various countries, islands, regions, territories, provinces, cities, towns, transport routes and all physical features in very good detail. All borders are clearly defined in colour.

Printed by John Bartholomew & Co, Edinburgh. Total Size: 325x260mm (13x10.25in). Image Size: 305x230mm.

This map is in good condition for age with no marks, tears or any other damage. Has a couple of tears on the border (not on the image itself) and some creasing. Has central fold lines.

NOTE: Some maps will have fold lines as they have come from old publications or need to fit to a standard size when bound with other maps. This does not affect their value and will become unnoticeable when framed.

ALSO: This map will be sent backed against hard card and will be fully protected from any damage including moisture.
