Title: Late Victorian/early Edwardian Pedastal Desk

this is an unusual late victorian or early edwardian, mahogany, twin pedestal desk. fully restored 25 years ago. two removable panels at rear and one at back of knee space, concealing a storage space. provenance unknown but thought to have been used in post office. has been used daily as a desk for last 25 years. leather inlaid top, renewed during restoration has some scratching. top sits on base (i.e. not attached) for easy maneuvering through door ways etc. the dimensions are - 1380mm wide, 810mm high and 790mm deep. the pigeon hole section on top is 285mm deep,and 280mm high.
