Description
A very beautiful solid 9ct Gold Victorian Brooch set with 2 small diamonds and four Rubies. It has Full English Hallmarks for Chester, 9 ct, 375, and the date letter for 1897 and at the other end of the brooch are the makers marks CMW. The C shaped hook which hold the pin shut has been professionally reattached at some stage, and the diamonds have flaws/nicks hard to see with the naked eye . I don't know if the Rubies are Natural or Synthetic ( I'm unsure how to check)...the diamonds have been tested as true.
It measures 39mm long by 17mm across and weighs 2.45 grams.
