This necklace is an excellent example of home made 1950's jewellery. At that time many women still made all their own clothes and often money was tight. Jewellery made of dough, plastic and such was quite the thing. This one measures 42 cms ong and needs shaping otherwise it's in great condition.

Totally unexpectedly I am off to Zambia in a combined holiday / mission trip in January. Consequently cupboards are being cleared, boxes opened and some rare, some interesting, some unusual and some top quality items coming up over the next few months as I need to fund the trip.
