This is an authentic reproduction of the helmets worn by the medieval knights of the 14th century. These classical helmets were designed to protect the entire head and neck and had a visor which can be opened while not in combat. This arrangement allows for maximum protection, visibility and air flow.

It is a very light and comfortable helmet to wear and for its time was as advanced as the more close fitting armet type helmets from later medieval times.

It is made from 2.0 mm mild steel and comes Battle Ready with a simple leather suspension liner. It can be used in most styles of re-enactment combat except for the most heavy forms of head blow combat and jousting from horseback
