Sir Ralph David Richardson (1902-1983) was the legendary actor who, along with his contemporaries Sir John Gielgud and Sir Laurence Olivier, dominated British stage and screen in the mid-20th century.

Sir Ralph starred in more than 60 movies, countless stage productions, numerous TV productions and a vast number of radio works! After beginning his career in the 1920s he went on to become, possibly, the finest English character actor of all time.
