Own a piece of New Zealand history painted by Henry Maplestone (1819-84).
This framed glassed historical print of New Plymouth in 1849 was issued by the Alexander Turnbull Library Endowment Trust Board in 1969.
The print itself measures 44cm by 30cm and the frame size is 56cm by 45cm.
The print number of 1936 is hand written in pen and it is from Series 16: 1969.
There is some very light foxing but it is otherwise in great retro condition.
The original is in the Alexander Turnbull Library, Wellington.
Pickup is North Shore, Auckland, close to harbour bridge.
