This would have been made to be a cache pot for a small plant pot but nowadays I think they are used simply as decorative items or maybe as a pot to keep all sorts of bits and pieces from your dressing table in.

It has a stamped mark in a circle MADE IN Czecho – Slovakia

Also a stamped 38 Also an impressed number 2 which is possibly preceded by another number.

I think – but cannot guarantee – this would be from 1930s

8cm across the base but 11 cm across if you count to the end of the nose. 6.5cm high.
