1913 Coin Operated Gas Meter
Measures approx 37cm high x 35cm wide x 22cm deep
Alder and Mackay, Edinburgh, Bradford, 1913
A rare old item. Has nice brass plaques on it. Drop a coin in, twist it and the coin drops into the removable box below, the rest of the mechanism doesn't seem to do anything. Has a few minor faults but is in pretty good shape for 102 years old.
A quirky industrial or steampunk style piece for your collection. Very few of these have survived.
