BACKGROUND TO THIS AND THE OTHER HISTORIC SHIP PHOTOS. .......................................................... This is one of a number of original historic shipping photos we are offering on Trademe which have originally come from the personal collection of ship photos formed by the late John Leslie who was shipping editor for "The Press" in Christchurch up until about 1990. Some of these photos have been used in newspaper articles he has written but many have not. There usually is no copyright on them although often signs of usage. Most have some info written on their backs.
