Completely HAND EMBROIDERED FINE TABLECLOTH, made by young Indian girls. Early 1950s. Each side has a different story to tell. Each corner has a palm tree. The centre is surrounded by a ring of delicate embroidered pictures. Two thicknesses of fine muslin type cloth. There is great detail in every picture. Very minimal light age related marking. Almost invisible. Appropriate size 104 cm X 112 cm.
