VINTAGE FOLK ART CARVED WOODEN HUMAN X BUTTERFLY - Bizarre half human half butterfly wooden carved wall hanging. I have checked onlin and very similar to the Mexican Nahua Folk Art Guerrero Carved Wood Mariposa Butterfly on Google but with certain differences so unsure of the origin of this item? Missing a few spots of paint and the antennae or feelers from the top of the head. Appears definitely hand carved and there are 'holes' similar to insect holes within the carved cavity but no indication of any infestations of anything so possibly not?

Largish item measures approx 69cm long and 66cm widest point.
