Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to put fo0d on the table!!! Even if it means selling a RARE diptych paua painting!
I say rare because I have only ever seen these canvasses once in a shop - and I ended up buying them to produce this work of art :)
They became part of a much bigger set (pictured) which went to a gallery to be sold. Not hearing from these people I decided to investigate only to see they had sold the gallery a year ago and moved!!!
Thank go0dness the new owner found some of it in storage but alas 3 pieces are still missing.
I've half given up on ever finding the old gallery owners and have decided to sell what I have left and start again!

You are bidding on the pictures 1 and 2. Picture 3 is what my paintings used to lo0k like as a set.

I still have the giant one hanging on my wall which could be sold if someone wants it but you would have to pick up in a 4wd truck/ute or something because it is far to big to fit in a car and postage is unreal for something of this size!!! (1200mm x 1200mm x 38mm without the packaging.) Just give me a yell if you're interested and I could do a seperate listing otherwise HaPpY BiDDinG!!!

Acrylics on 2 canvasses each measuring 402mm x 402mm x 38mm. Inside canvas measuring 150mm x 150mm x 38mm.
TOTAL together 850mm (with a 50mm gap) x 402mm x 38mm.

Sides are painted and is Signed and Dated.

Heavily Textured with a silver fern carved out of a real paua shell!!!

These paua paintings are unique to me and have made it as far as New York!!!
The painting changes colour, just like a real paua shell with different light.
Perfect for any wall that needs a bit of cheering up!
