A nice historical scene painting by New Zealand artist Beryl George. It is signed and dated 08, but not tiltled. It is done on canvas stretched over wooden frame. It looks quite neat. Am guessing it is from up the Waihi Coromandel probably, but have no idea where. Measures approx 330mm x 240mm x 35mm thick. I am pretty sure this is an acrylic, because it looks and feels like an acrylic, but could be wrong so if being acrylic or oil is important to you, please do NOT bid or buy. May be odd minor mark or defect but to all intents and purposes I think it is fine, and good for display. Good piece. Thanks. refN20444133
