A beautiful Wellington street scene oil painting by Tetyana Khytko.

Tetyana was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She studied painting at the Kiev Art School and in 1987 she graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Arts with a degree in Architecture.

Tetyana's favourite subject is landscapes - a mixture of reality and fantasy. The majority of her paintings refer to a particular place, they involve abstract elements and invention, leaving room for the viewer to use their imagination.

Tetyana regularly exhibits in both New Zealand and Australia.
