Print Renowned photographer - Frank Meadow Sutcliffe

This is an official print of a photograph he took of Whitby Abbey.

He was active in the later part of the 1800s and that's what makes this print so stunning - it's crisp and haunting and is a window to what life was like back for a farmer at this time. He was credited with being one of the first proponents of elevating photography from a technical skill to an art form (pretty impressive given it had only just been invented at that stage)

It is A4 in size and has a mat etc .... but the frame I have it in is broken so won't include that in the sale!
