If you are looking for a fun way for your students to learn their high frequency words – Here it is! with Word Cards from the four colours of the Wheel

This Resource pack, which will be emailed to you, as a .pdf file, contains 135 basic sight word Game Cards divided into two sections. The top half of the card says I have... with a HFW and then the bottom section says Who has... with a different HFW. (Each card is 8.5 cm x 5.8 cm)

The students have to say the word to be able to play the card, so this helps students learn the high frequently vocabulary while having fun.

(All the HFW Words on the cards are formed correctly using the NZ Basic Script Font as outlined in the MOE Handwriting Guidelines)

The resource reinfoces the vocabulary being introduced in the early readers.

I have divided the words into the Colour wheel Reading Levels so each of the four sets of cards can be used individually at these levels.
