Grading notes (per official guidebook abridged) Near mint (NM)(9.4) nearly perfect,slight blunting of corners allowed,almost no stress lines on spine

Very fine/near mint (VF/NM)(9.0) no creases allowed,minor accumulation of stress lines allowed if nearly imperceptable

Very fine (VF)(8.0) 1/4 inch crease allowed,very slight staple tears allowed,a few insignificant stress lines present

Fine (FN)(6.0) above average copy,minor wear,minor creases present,blunted corners,few minor stress lines

Very good (VG)(4.0) the average used comic book,little cover gloss,moderate creasing,spine roll or 1 inch split

Good (G)(2.0) substantial wear,"reading copy only"
