Description
Wind From The West Book One Moon Over The Manuaku By Clark Jmaes
A six-generation New Zealand family saga.
Wind From the West is a six-volume romantic journey through the 20th century, placing characters into actual social and sporting events. As the family expands, so do their business and social interests. This is book one in the series.
Book One commences with the engagement of Ben and Priscilla at mid-night 1900 at a rural party. In Auckland Priscilla's sister Emily is married to a wealthy businessman. Behind her glmorous facade she is studying management.
On the Awhitu Peninsula farm are Ben's sisters: ill-natured Jane and frivolous Alison. One rejects men: the other attracts them: never though to her father's approval. Moon Over The manukau takes you on a rugged journey to 1918.
Wind From The West has been over forty years in the writing.
Softcover. 392 pages.
