The Stories Of Wagner's Operas. A 282 page hardbound book with pictorial front cover. Written by J. Walker McSpadden & illustrated by Fred. Lecke & Hermann Hendrich. I believe this to be the original 1915 edition but cannot be sure. The book is in good solid condition. The front & bottom edges are not trimmed square, not unusual for books published at that time. The top edge is gilded & the front & bottom edge are lightly discoloured. Light edge-wear & light bumps to bottom front corners. Discolouration to one end-paper at back. Internally very good & the 15 colour plates are very good. A good solid copy of this rare Opera book.
