Description

Adrianne Nairn is a former British resident, now living in New Zealand. Her autobiography - her first published work - provides a record of her first-hand experiences of the issues of elder abuse, the waste of police and social services resources, misuse of powers of attorney and matters of how inheritances are handled within families in the aftermath of a loss of loved ones.
This is the true story of a family feud that spanned two countries and evolved over two decades, causing a breakdown of a sibling relationship which was, at one time, strong and healthy.
Nairn moved to Taupo in 2002 with her husband after many settled years in the UK. But the battle with her brother has rampaged incessantly since.
She says she has been motivated to write this book because she found herself in a position many families experience after the loss of a loved one - as in this case her father.
His generosity on his deathbed led to the battle she has been fighting with her brother, a former British Army Special Air Services soldier, trained in psychological warfare who went on to become a mercenary for the Sultan of Oman.
My Brother My Enemy by Adrienne Nairn is a 2013 first edition published by Stentorian Publishing, Taupo.
It is a quality as-new 219-page 15.5x23.5cm card soft cover with a section of photographs. There is a signed inscription on page 3.
