For sale 3 books in a series produced in 1968 about NZ Art. Published by A.H. & A.W. Reed and edited by P.A Tomory. The first book is Painting 1827-1890 by Hamish Keith; followed by Painting 1890-1950 by P.A. Tomory and lastly Painting 1950-1967 by Mark Young. In the inside cover of each book it states that these are meant as an introduction to the history of painting. Not intended as a comprehensive account but rather a commentary on the principal artists and important tendencies in each period. These are in tidy and clean condition, no missing pages, no marks, no foxing. No buy now and no pick ups. Trade Me has forced me to turn on the ‘in trade’ sign but please note I am selling off over 30 years of accumulated ‘stuff’ while I try to downsize. Unless otherwise stated everything has been owned by me during this time, has been used and is therefore second hand. Some of it has been in storage for years and if we don’t have room for it anymore we are letting it go.
