1st Edition Card covers published by UOP 2001 271 pages in mint condition
Dom came to NZ IN 1879 & during the next 8 years worked in Gisborne, Auckland & the Coromandel as a Benedictine monk. This is his account of those times. The title refers to the fact that he was a conscientious objector to military service in Italy. An interesting read.
