Description

Hugh Smith (1851 - 1944), known as "The Bard of Inangahua", was born in Scotland and spent seventy years in Inangahua chronicling many national personalities and events in New Zealand. This collection includes the well known poem "Biddy of the Buller". This book was edited by Berta Sinclair Burns and published by Hugh Smith's son, Hugh Smith (Jnr) in 1946. This copy is in good condition but has some minor wear and foxing.
