Book condition: Good. Front and back covers show some wear. No fading to spine. There is a black-and-white frontispiece illustration opposite the title page. Various full-page black-and-white illustrations are scattered throughout the text. Some foxing on table of contents and introduction. Slight foxing elsewhere. No pages missing. Binding is firm.
Sir Walter Scott (1771 – 1832) was a Scottish historical novelist, playwright, and poet. Quentin Durward is a historical novel by Sir Walter Scott, first published in 1823. The story concerns a Scottish archer in the service of the French King Louis XI (1423–1483).
