1981 THE THINGUMAJIG BOOK OF MANNERS IRENE KELLER AND DICK KELLER

It's an extremely well illustrated (and written) book about etiquette and manners (something that seems to be rather lacking these days). On each page, it depicts a "Thingumajig" (a nasty and impolite, yet adorable creature) doing something that is considered rude by polite society.

In the bottom corner of each page is a silhouette of a little boy or girl explaining why one should not do what the Thingumajig(s) is doing, followed by an explanation of a polite alternative to the illustrated behavior.
