Punctuation Posters in bright chevron: This auction is for a digital collection (in the form of a PDF file) of punctuation posters and large flash cards that will support the teaching of younger learners (new entrants to year 3).

The posters make a great teaching tool and/or display, which students can always refer to while working independently.

The large flash cards make for a perfect tool to have on hand in whole class shared reading, writing or guided reading and writing. I'd recommend having a set at hand, held together with a metal book ring or cable tie (after laminating and punching a hole in each corner with a hole punch). Then, whenever you or your class is discussing the punctuation aspect of concepts about print in a lesson, you can flip to the relevant punctuation card to reinforce the learning.

Each poster has a title with the featured punctuation mark’s name, a brief explanation, an example of it in use and clipart of a cute punctuation kid! The large flash cards have the punctuation mark’s name, a clear image it’s symbol and again, clipart of a cute punctuation kid!

The punctuation marks included are: ~Full stop ~Exclamation mark ~Comma ~Question mark ~Speech marks (or ‘Quotation Marks’ option) ~Apostrophe ~Ellipsis ~Colon
