Description

Your purchase of great books, originally acquired for our own private collection, also provides funds for my daughter, who was reassessed by the CDS in Sept 2013 and diagnosed with developmental coordination disorder. As more books are added to our collection, others are weeded out and sold here on Trade Me. Mix and match ANY seven comparably priced titles from ANY of our Trade Me auctions for the stated price. Our preloved books range from those in fair condition to the majority that we categorise as good to very good. See our positive feedback! Please use the buy now option as we are unable to reduce the prices further. Books are sent using NZ Post bags. Most auction wins are processed in 3-5 days or less, but we reserve the right to take longer due to family circumstances.

1915 by Roger McDonald. An eloquent statement by an Australian poet about love and death, about the destruction of innocence and the dehumanizing lunacy of war. (box 18)

Albert's Victoria by Tyler Whittle (box 18)

The Moon's a Balloon by David Niven (box 18)

A Rustle in the Grass by Robin Hawdon. The most remarkable novel about nature since Duction Wood. (box 18)

Selected Poems and Prose by Matthew Arnold. Edited by Miriam Allott. (box 45)

The Golden Fire by Jonathan Fast. A richly evocative saga of glorious ancient India. (box 18)

Jack Mercybright by Mary E. Pearce. Sheer country magic says James Herriot. (box 18)

BRING ON THE EMPTY HORSES by David Niven (box 57) More hilarious stories of Hollywood in it's heyday.

Shaftesbury by G.F. A. Best. The Life of Lord Shaftesbury -- a devout conservative aristocrat who, more than any other figure in British public life, inspired compassion for the unfortunate and rejected. (box 12)

THE MOON ENDURETH by John Buchan (box 81)

SERPICO THE VALACHI PAPERS (box 45)

OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN by Lydia Gerend (box 98) A wickedly funny and stylish comedy that takes a refreshing look at the perils and pressures of parenthood.
