This collectable book was compiled by Bev Abbot and Wayne Mullins for the New Zealand Mountain Safety Council. It is a 1983 2nd ed. Soft cover with minimal signs of use. It has 158 pgs and is in good condition. There are easy to follow descriptive black and white illustrations throughout to accompany the text and guide your learning. A best friend to have in your tramping or hunting pack as you never know when a little knowledge may safe your life. Great basic survival skills are covered (see pics for contents). These books are becoming harder to find and contain great info for backcountry adventuring. A great kiwiana book for any outdoors adventurer. Awesome to have with the summer months ahead and to get planning your next adventure with.
