Great Wall Display or Book Ring the WALT cards!

This visual Maths resource will be a great Timesaver for busy teachers!!! will be emailed to you, as a .pdf file. (There are 100 different Learning Intention cards.)

The pack includes key knowledge and strategies for students working through the Number Strand for Stages 1-8

• Addition and Subtraction
• Multiplication and Division
• Proportions and Ratios

The WALT's do not have to be printed out. They can just be brought up on the monitor or take a screen shot and add it to the days activities or make the cards into a Power Point - the benefit of a digital resource.

If you do want to Print out some parts of the resource - The cards can be put on a Book Ring and flipped through to select the WALT of the Day. or The resource comes with 4 A4 landscape pages with each page featuring two children and a blank sign. Above their heads is a speech bubble which says: We are learning to

Each Maths Group can have a WALT sign. The colour coded L.I. for each group, are attached to the Magnetic Board,(with a strip of self adhesive magnetic tape) under the Stage label.

The LI that is current is attached to the sign the children are holding on the WALT page. The rest are lined up below.

Over time, a star is placed beside the Learning Intentions that have been achieved and other cards are listed under the label ‘Next steps’. (A page of smiley stars is included in the resource)

This way students can see what they have achieved, and where they need to move to next. Kids, with this visual prompt, can discuss their progress on a regular basis or more formally at student- led Conferences.
