WARNINGS

• Keep from young children! If two or more are swallowed they can be lethal, by attracting across gut tissue and puncturing it.
• The material is brittle so it can chip or break if magnets crash together. Eye protection advised.
• Magnets can pinch skin and cut clothing. Larger ones, particularly in groups, can crush fingers.
• For sensitive devices (e.g. credit cards, pacemakers, magnetic recording), keep at a distance where the field is negligible.

PRODUCT DETAILS

This is a pair of massively powerful, neodymium, "rare earth" magnets, having a direct pull to each other (or 2.4 mm steel) of about 12 kg. (Or a stack of 2 pulling to another stack of 2, 19 kg) (Or one magnet between 2 steel plates... 27 kg) (Resistance to sliding is about 1/3 that.)

Dimensions: 25mm diameter by 6 mm thick, with 4.3 mm countersunk hole to take #6, stainless steel, self-tapping, mounting screws.
Strength Rating: N45. Many magnets sold in NZ are N35 grade or lower, and are significantly weaker. One trader dishonestly advertises a weaker grade as N45.

Neodymium magnets have about 10 times the power of same-size, traditional magnets.

I supply with different poles on the countersunk sides so you can mount magnets attracting each other. Let me know if you wish otherwise.)

Potential Uses

• Door closures. Or holding doors or gates open. Either mount facing each other, or off-set and sliding across each other but not touching. (For outdoor use, seal from the weather)
