Assemble a modular 8kW single to three-phase converter.

It requires some time, basic electrical knowledge, this wall mountable module ME8 here, two other major items listed below and 4mm wire and connector strips:

1. Any standard 10hp three-phase motor will do. Put it on soft motor mounts. Or use the motor-generator listed if you want the same performance as with a Booster E8.
2. Any step-up autotransformer 240V to 415V, 9kVA. There is one listed here.

Make a safe and ventilated box for motor and transformer. Include the module as well if you like.

Make simple connections between an input terminal, a 40A switch, the transformer, the module ME8, the motor and an output terminal.

Run a lathe, mill, saw, planer, sander, thicknesser,dust extractor, water pump, guillotine, edge bander, punch, shear, mill, car hoist, spindle moulder, router, cutter, surface grinder, polishing machine, printer, woodworking machine, press brake, folder, band saw, pressure washer, tyre machine and more.

Throughput is 8kW or up to 11hp. Supply current at full load is 36A (use a 40A motor-rated fuse).

Phase voltages are not balanced as with a Booster T8 (not required for motor applications).
