Overview: Jonsered is manufactured by Husqvarna and produced in the Husqvarna Factory in parallel with the same Husqvarna Model. One is red one orange. (See the pic's). In most markets Husqvarna sell both brands in tandem to achieve maximum sales and Dealer outlets. However in New Zealand I guess this strategy would be detrimental to the Husqvarna brand due to smaller market/volumes. I understand in Sweden the Jonsered brand has stronger support.

Product Information: Because the CS2255 uses the same parts as the Husqvarna Model 455r, any Dealer will service it. The CS2255 is a new design all-round chain saw with the CLEAN POWER low emission engine and high torque over a wider rpm range. The unique TURBO filtration system extends engine life. Suitable for serious firewood cutters, Farmers where a longer 20” bar and heavy 3/8 pitch chain suits the cutting conditions.

*Starting: Combined start/stop control, fuel pump makes starting easier. *Decompression button: For longer starter cord life. *Ant-vibration: Dampeners absorb vibration. *Side-mounted: Chain tensioner, like the PRO Saws makes adjustment easy.

We import this product directly and offer a 12 Month return to store Warranty. Husqvarna 2 Cycle Oil is recommend. One would not expect any warranty issues with premium Husqvarna made products. Please follow the instructions in the Operators manual. Warranty does not cover damage due to incorrect fuel/oil ratio.
