My Halters & Leads use equestrian grade hardware with strong WELDED rings & are fully adjustable with TWO buckles. Nylon slide option underneath, seen in photo, avail on request

Rings are used on the cheek area so halter naturally adjusts to head shape

Two standard sizes - SMALL 6 months to yearling ages & ADULT size - lots of holes to adjust the sizes for correct fit. No need to buy lots of different sizes.

NEW SIZE - I can also make a small, soft halter for those wishing to get younger animals used to wearing a halter or to give a little safety control when visiting the vet etc.

NOTE - Internationally recommended age for halter training alpaca is around 6 months old. Alpacas are very easy to halter train.

Please use extra care & caution with cria & halters. Alpacas breathe through their nose & Cria have a very soft nasal structure when young. Trying to halter train them too young can cause distress & may make them difficult to halter train when they are older.

A correct, comfortable fit is essential for a happy, relaxed alpaca, whether during halter training, in the show ring or going for walks at home.

Decorative Nose band options avail - $2 per halter

Wash in warm, mildly soapy water, rinse well, remove excess moisture with a towel. They air dry in no time
