This auction is for one READY-MADE "A" Frame Hen House built by qualified cabinetmaker.

"The coop arrived yesterday. I'm very happy with it. Its lovely and sturdy and the chooks are very happy."

Dimensions: 2.1m Long x 1.2m Wide x 1.3 High (2.4m.inc nesting box)

This narrower 1.2 metre wide version has proven useful for owners of smaller properties or with limited access.

Materials used:

Stunning NZ native redwood palings H4 treated timber frame (If not "H4" on the base it will eventually rot). H3.2 treated plywood. Galvanised square gauge netting. Stainless steel hinges Two nestboxes and two perches. Metal strip along roof apex. Butynol rubber strip to keep nesting box dry.

There is one door at the front to allow chooks in and out and a lidded nesting box at the back of the coop for egg collection.

The bottom framing prevents predators digging underneath, making it safe & secure.

This house will accomodate four/six chooks comfortably.

The coop is easy to move and to transport - it will fit onto a 6x4 trailer.

These coops are also ideal for rabbits, guinea pigs etc.

We can deliver for a fee. This can be discussed on application, or you can organise your own cartage.

Imagine freshly laid eggs for brekkie! At least you know they haven't been sitting on a supermarket shelf for goodness knows how long! And remember..... "You feed the chook and the chook feeds you!"
