Will fit Honda, Robin, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, DEK that suits air cooled, water cooled, two or four stroke engines.

What do I need to know? 1. The engine horsepower 2. The diameter of the shaft the clutch is fitted to 3. The type and size of chain in use, or planned to use

How do I select the correct clutch? 1. Obtain the correct maximum power of the engine. If it is 6.5hp or under, the Max Torque will handle this power range. If the engine power is greater than this, please refer to our “Lehane Heavy Duty 20 hp Go-Kart Clutch” ad. 2. Check the diameter of the shaft the clutch is fitted to. This is normally the crankshaft output shaft. If 3/4” or 5/8”diameter with a 3/16” key, the Max Torque clutch is suitable. If the crankshaft diameter differs from this, please refer to our “Lehane Heavy Duty Go Kart Clutch 6.5hp” advert. 3. If your kart is in heavy use or conditions that cause high wear (such as sand or mud) we recommend you refer to our “Lehane Heavy Duty Go Kart Clutch 6.5hp” ad. 4.
