3mm wide carbide tip parting blade and holder for 16mm high lathe tool post centre height.

Two piece, adjustable depth. Blade length approx. 150mm. Maximum parting depth with back of blade flush with back of block holder is approx. 60mm of material radius. Can go deeper as holder has 90mm clamping length, dependant upon swarf removal, coolant-lubrication, rpm, vibration and bravery level.

The blades have good vertical rigidity being 32mm high. Don't worry about the 32mm blade height, the blade holder block sorts out your centre height in the tool post as either 16mm or 20mm (with the 20mm version) when assembled.

If you need tips, tips are extra as an option in the shipping choices. Tips I have in stock are for steel, general purpose. Grinding the top rake of a tip can modify them suitable for aluminium, plastics or brass.

Quantities of tips available separately as are blades that you occasionally might destroy.

Options are that you can specify a 20mm tool post blade block holder and or a 2mm blade for 2mm tips. Ask first about stock on variations to this auction.
