Both Ultralon P.E. and E.V.A. foam offer good resistance to a broad range of chemical substances and oils. P.E. foam is more resistant than E.V.A. and the resistance offered by both foams increases with density. The resistance is sufficient to describe the foams as "splash resistant" to petrol, oils and a range of acids.
