Gorgeous vintage coat 1940s shape and style

not sure exactly how old original Carlton chocolate brown with piping around collar and pockets 3 large vintage buttons side pockets, interesting back seaming ( as photographed), shaped to fit into the waist

overall has a truly gorgeous shape

sizing label is gone but I would guess at a size 12. would fit size 10 or 12 I imagine length from shoulder 111cm bust 92 cm waist approx 87 cm

condition; side pockets need repair where little tears have formed (photographed) colour is still very rich 2-3 small moth holes on one sleeve lining is in very good shape with only a small rip by the label and a little snagging around one sleeve seam

a few pocket repairs is really the main thing this coat needs.. and it is good to go!
