Description:

This card upgrades your desktop PC to two external USB 3.0 ports plus an internal 20 pin connector (ICC) that supports two USB 3.0. It comes w/ 4-pin Molex power connector.

Great upgrade solution for motherboard that does not come w/ on-board USB 3.0 but w/ an available PCIe x1 (or x16, x8, x4) expansion slot. This card adds two external USB 3.0 ports at the back of the PC. The ICC (20 pin connector) will further add two USB 3.0 connections for PC cases with USB 3.0 ports on front panel or connections for front panel USB 3.0 ports upgrade via the front floppy (3.5") or optical (5.25") drive bay.

**To achieve the maximum throughput, the PCI-Express slot must be version 2.0 or higher. Performance per port may decrease if both ports are transferring data simultaneously due to limited throughput of the PCI-Express slot.
