Ok, so this basically connects into your PC via a USB (either 2.0 or the newer faster3.0) or an e-sata if you have that ability.

Just reads everything...look at the pics, all manner of storage cards, 2 usb slots and then, the coup de grace, it will read/write to internal drives you have put in...noe they can be 2.5 or 3.5 SATA (so from your desktop or your laptop,) but also, if you have the old IDE drive lying around, you can now use them again as a storage medium...so really, you need never buy an external drive again, just need this and you're good to go. Reads and writes to all inserted media, has a wee driver disc,which, when i tried it, i never used, i just had the free version of Macrium and used that...copy files or clone an ENTIRE DRIVE which can then be swapped over if your drive is starting to be a bit dodgy...Just a very handy piece of equipment..comes complete with USB 2.0 cable and an AC adaptor (it does need some mains power to do all these wonderful things..so there you have it...bid away and you might get it in time for Chrimbo!
