This being a very important selling point especially to those in the Fashion Industry, grades of Merino like 19.5 Extra Fine is likely only to be found in very expensive Fashion Knitwear.

So as a seller of Merino Wool we want people to know they are getting the very best which is why we specify what Micron our Merino is, others may not as they are fully aware the cost of making a yarn from a lesser grade of Merino is much cheaper. Because the lower you go in Micron the more expensive the raw fleece cost the yarn maker.

Not only have we used a 19.5 Extra Fine Virgin Merino we have also used the most costly system to have the yarn spun. We have used 8 individual strands of a finely spun yarn and then had them all two folded and then finally have all ends twisted together to finally make a 4 Ply, this increases durability by many times

What’s the difference between machine Washable and Superwash, Machine washable is a warm 30c wash Line Dry, Superwash is a Warm Machine Wash and can also be warm tumble dried at 30c.

You are buying a yarn that will wear better than many, keep its wearer warmer and finally because it’s a 19.5 Micron its breathes better allowing whomever is wearing it not to start sweating should it warm up
