SEWING MACHINE The Singer 4423 Heavy Duty sewing machine is a true workhorse. It has a heavy duty metal interior frame and stainless steel bedplate. The powerful motor provides extra high sewing speed and it can sew through thicker materials than most other domestic models.

Features include an auto needle threader, top drop-in plastic bobbin and an automatic 1-step buttonhole. Stitch length and width is adjustable and there is a drop feed for free motion sewing. This adds a new dimension of ease for serious sewing.

OVERLOCKER A robust & capable machine for it's price, the Singer Heavy Duty Overlocker handles thicker fabrics with greater ease and a more consistent stitch than the Singer 14SH754.

Comes pre-threaded with a different colour on each spool so that you can identify different threads within the stitch & learn the feed system.

Has a scrap bag to catch all your offcuts - brilliant!

Differential feed adjustment ensures perfect seams - no breaking or puckering. Prevents stretch, knit & bias cut fabrics from stretching out as you sew allowing you to avoid that dreaded 'lettuce leaf edge' (of course if that's what you want, it can do that too!).

The movable upper knife is quickly and easily moved out of the way to prevent cutting of the fabric as you sew. No screwdriver required! Essential for sewing elastic.
