Spinning Wheel
This item is at least 40 years old. It is extremely well made and has no borer.
The word 'Justus' is carved into the base.
The treadle works freely but the wheel requires a new cord (leather?) to the bobbin assembly as the old one has been lost.
Clearly this spinning wheel has been well used in the past and has seen wear to the front of the treadle and the base. It appears that this wear has been touched up with stain in the past. Minor surface blemishes and marks to the base and bobbins.
The spinning wheel stands 850mm high with a 370mm wheel diameter. A nice solid item.
