Jacobs Style chuck No 2 Mt 1 to 16mm These are the first Jacobs chucks that I have found that close down to 1 mm .This not only enables you to drill small holes when on the lathe but you can also use in the head stock to hold smaller pieces like pens and finials. Teknatool Pi jaws only close to 10mm making it hard to hold items without making special jam chucks I use a jacobs chuck when making wine stoppers as the downs are to small to fit into a pin jaw set . Closing to 1mm also means they run dead true I run 5 Jacobs chucks which enables me to leave in the bits when staging multiple items. At this price you can have a spare
