This lens is for mid range portrait lovers!! I used it mainly for capturing this tiny details of people and their hint of emotions. USM are extremely fast so less chance of missing the critical moments.

As it is a prime lens, it allows for photographers to capture supreme image quality. Large aperture gives you more chance to play with subject separation with beautiful Bokeh around it.

During my obsessive photographic time, I have completely abandoned zoom lenses and replaced them with two prime lenses, which are 85mm 1.8 (mid range) and 30mm 1.4 (close range) as I was mainly interested in capturing people rather than landscape.
