Unlike most lenses on this kind of camera, the 12x zoom on the FZ50 doesnt get longer when zoomed. This means it doesnt suffer from air and dust being sucked in during zooming. It also means the end of the lens is rock solid if you want to attach adapters or converters

Camera is very clean. UV filter has been kept on to protect the lens and camera has been kept in dry, cool environment when not used. Id rate lens 10/10, with no marks or scratches, and no fungus. Id rate body easily 8/10, with a few light scratches, including one near the shutter button, and a very faint one on the LCD only visible from a certain angle when the screen is off. Glass in the wide converter in excellent condition, but theres cosmetic wear on the sides of the black plastic barrel
